The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation announced this morning that applications are now open for Louisiana social service nonprofits and high schools to apply for the Community Outreach Ticket program.

The Archive of the New Orleans Jazz &  Heritage Foundation has launched a campaign to preserve more than 30 video and audio tapes of Jimmy Buffett’s performances at Jazz Fests spanning from 1990-2008. The tapes which have been carefully inventoried for more than two decades must now be digitized.  Preserving the tapes will increase access to these legendary shows so that the joy Jimmy provided can continue to reverberate for generations to come.

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation is thrilled to announce the 2023 Catapult Fund Graduates. The 2023 Catapult Fund featured two categories: one focused on entrepreneurs in the beauty, fashion, and jewelry industries, and another for culinary arts.

“She was the conscience of the festival,” one longtime friend said of Allison Miner, the New Orleans Jazz Fest and Jazz & Heritage Foundation co-founder who established both the Festival’s Music Heritage Stage and the Foundation’s Archive.

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell announced the addition of an extra day to the 2024 Festival as the event will now begin on Thursday, April 25, creating two equal four-day weekends.
