Jazz Fest Daily Music Lineup Announcement
The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell today announced the music lineups for all seven days of Jazz Fest and put single-day tickets on sale for the 2023 event scheduled for April 28 – 30 and May 4 – 7 at the Fair Grounds Race Course.
2023 Community Outreach Ticket Program Announcement
The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation supports community involvement in the 2023 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell. Thousands of free tickets are distributed to Louisiana social service nonprofits through the Community Outreach Ticket program. Applications are currently being accepted until Monday, March 20 at 11:00 pm (CT)
2023 Jazz & Heritage Gala Announcement
The Jazz & Heritage Gala is the official kick off celebration to the 2023 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell!
This star-studded event is Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Generations Hall in New Orleans. The patron party begins at 6pm, followed by the gala from 7pm to 10pm.

In December 2022, the Foundation held three days of public award ceremonies at the George and Joyce Wein Jazz & Heritage Center to honor Community Partnership Grant Recipients. Crescent City Blues & BBQ Festival 2022 Guitar Auction
Celebrating the return of the Crescent City Blues & BBQ Festival, Painted Axe focused its artists efforts on “renewal.” With that, Painted Axe selected a butterfly to represent renewal, rebirth and the promise of a better future on the 2009 Epiphone Les Paul. Not just any butterfly, but a Gulf Fritillary – Louisiana’s state butterfly – and the only butterfly apparently indigenous to the Bayou State.
