The Crescent City Blues & BBQ Festival returns to Lafayette Square Park (602 St. Charles Ave.) in New Orleans for its 16th edition on October 13-15, 2023. 

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation presents the 2023 Louisiana Cajun-Zydeco Concert Series, celebrating the rich musical traditions of southwestern Louisiana. This year, we’re presenting Louisiana’s indigenous sounds indoors at the George and Joyce Wein Jazz & Heritage Center, 1225 N. Rampart Street in New Orleans.

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation is excited to announce that applications are now open for the 2023 Catapult Fund small business training program. The 2023 Catapult Fund features two categories: one focused on entrepreneurs in the beauty, fashion, and jewelry industries, and another for culinary arts. This program is a partnership between the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation and Capital One Bank and the Louisiana Small Business Development Center Greater New Orleans and River Region

The 2023 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell drew  460,000 festivalgoers to this year’s event, Jazz Fest organizers announced today, as the Festival once again transformed the Fair Grounds Race Course and the entire city into a cultural destination for music lovers from all  over the world.

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation is pleased to welcome Jonathan Solari as the Foundation’s new Director of Development. Jonathan Solari’s long career in the arts combines ambitious philanthropic endeavors with a love for strengthening communities through the exchange of ideas and artistic expression.

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation’s Johnny Jackson Jr. Gospel Is Alive! Celebration presented by Peoples Health will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023 from 9:00am to 11:00am at the Franklin Avenue Baptist Church, 2515 Franklin Avenue. The concert is free and open to the public. Seating is limited and attendees are encouraged to arrive early.

It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of a true legend, Edward “Kidd” Jordan, who left us today. All of us at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Foundation and the Don “Moose” Jamison Heritage School of Music join the global jazz community in expressing our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and fans.

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation’s Class Got Brass competition took place on April 2, 2023, outside of the George and Joyce Wein Jazz & Heritage Center. 

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell will hold a one-day sale on single-day advanced tickets to the upcoming 2023 Festival, scheduled for April 28 – May 7.
