Guidelines for Using the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation Name and Logo
As an important affiliate of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation, we want to ensure that our collective efforts accurately represent our values and mission. Proper usage of the Foundation’s name and logo is crucial in maintaining our brand identity.
Here are some essential guidelines for using the Foundation’s name and logo correctly:
- Full Name Usage: Always refer to our organization as the “New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation” on first mention in any document or communication. Afterward, you may refer to it as “the Foundation.”
- Correct Spelling and Capitalization: Ensure that “Jazz” and “Heritage” are capitalized correctly when writing the Foundation’s name. This is vital for preserving our brand identity. Addtionally the “&” is used between “Jazz” & “Heritage”.
- Abbreviations: Refrain from using any abbreviations such as “NOJHF” in official communications. Consistently using the name helps to promote brand recognition.
- Logo Usage: When incorporating the Foundation’s logo, please adhere to our branding guidelines, which include specifications for size, color, and placement. These guidelines are crucial for maintaining our visual identity. You can access the brand assets below or request higher resolution logos from us directly.
- Contextual Relevance: When using our name or logo in any promotional materials, ensure the context aligns with the Foundation’s mission and values. Avoid using our name in contexts that could misrepresent or negatively impact our reputation.
- Approval for Materials: Please seek approval from the Foundation’s Programs, Marketing, and Communications Department before distributing any materials that include our name or logo. This ensures consistency and alignment with our branding strategy.
We appreciate your commitment to representing the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation with integrity. If you have any further questions or would like to discuss this topic in more detail, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Name and Organizational Description
Always reference us as the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation. When required, use the following description: “The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation uses the proceeds from the festival, plus other raised funds, for year-round programs in the areas of education, economic development, and cultural enrichment.”
Logo Usage
We provide full color, Black/White, and Transparent versions of our logo. Please do not use any other logo. Use the one that best fits your publication while preserving the original colors, and ensure the logo is upright and unaltered. Suitable uses include newsletters, websites, social media images, and flyers. The logos available on this site may be used by authorized community partners for print and electronic communications. Please be sure to place the logo on a white background whenever possible or surround the logo with ample white space.
