Music Lineup Announcement for the Louisiana 2026 Cajun-Zydeco Festival

The Louisiana Cajun-Zydeco Festival returns to the George and Joyce Wein Jazz & Heritage Center May 30 – 31, 2026

Renowned music and culture of Southwestern Louisiana showcased with musical performances by Nathan & the Zydeco Cha Chas, Chubby Carrier & The Bayou Swamp Band, & more!

NEW ORLEANS (May 12, 2026) – The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation returns with the ultimate weekend celebration of Southwestern Louisiana musical traditions with the 2026 Louisiana Cajun-Zydeco Festival on Saturday, May 30th, and Sunday, May 31st, from 3:00 pm to 8:30 pm each day at the George and Joyce Wein Jazz & Heritage Center (1225 N. Rampart Street). Musical performances by local and regional artists, including Nathan & the Zydeco Cha Chas, Chubby Carrier & The Bayou Swamp Band, Geno Delafose & French Rockin’ Boogie, Donna Angelle & the Zydeco Posse, and more, will highlight Louisiana’s cherished indigenous sounds from Cajun-French ballads to Creole Zydeco’s rhythmic washboards and everything in between. The Louisiana Cajun-Zydeco Festival will be held outside in the parking lot of the George and Joyce Wein Jazz & Heritage Center (1225 N. Rampart Street). Doors open at 2:00 pm with live music beginning at 3:00 pm each day. Savory bites by Cochon King BBQ and cold treats by Valerie’s Snoballs will be available for purchase on site.
