Acknowledgement

Please acknowledge the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation’s support by including our name and logo in publications, programs, and signage related to any events or presentations funded through grants.

When to use:

Use this logo if you are an organization, agency, school or program that receives grant funding or sponsorship from the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Foundation. To promote a clear and consistent message, the Foundation’s logo should be used any time you promote a program or service “Supported by the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Foundation “. Please do not refer to this organization as the “New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Jazz Fest, or N.O. Jazz Festival”.

This project is supported by a grant from the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Foundation’s Community Partnership Grant program.

Name and Organizational Description

Always reference us as the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation. When required, use the following description: “The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation uses the proceeds from the festival, plus other raised funds, for year-round programs in the areas of education, economic development, and cultural enrichment.”

Logo Use

We provide both Black/White and Color versions of our logo. Please do not use any other logo. Use the one that best fits your publication while preserving the original colors, and ensure the logo is upright and unaltered. Suitable uses include newsletters, websites, social media images, and flyers. The logos available on this site may be used by authorized community partners for print and electronic communications. Please be sure to place the logo on a white background whenever possible or surround the logo with ample white space. If you have any questions about using the Foundation’s logo, please contact the Grants Department at grants@jazzandheritage.org. The Jazz & Heritage Foundation logo is to be used for Community Partnership grant-funded activities only. When linking this logo online, please link to www.jazzandheritage.org. As stated in the Letter of Agreement, the Foundation logo will be used on promotional materials for the grant-funded activity. Do not distort or alter this logo in any way while in use.

Minimum size:
The minimum size for NOJHF’s logo is 15×15. Smaller sizes cannot be read.

Clearspace (white space):
A clearspace should be maintained around NOJHF’s logo to protect it from compromise by other graphics (except when used with sub-brands). The clearspace on all sides should be equal to the height of the menorah circle.

NOJHF’s logo should always be used as supplied, not created.

  • Do not distort
  • Do not change the colors of the logo
  • Do not typeset or re-create the logo
  • Do not put it in a box or other shape
  • Do not animate 

Preferred placement:
On the bottom right hand corner of the front of all printed materials, including annual reports, brochures, flyers, newsletters, invitations, ads and signage.

Brand Guidelines

In an effort to clarify appropriate use of the Foundation’s names and logos, and to prevent unauthorized uses of our names and logos, we have created these Brand and Trademark Guidelines. We strongly encourage anyone considering using the name or logo of Jazz Fest, or of any of our other programs, assets or activities, to carefully review these guidelines

Promote your Event

We would like to help promote your event. The Foundation’s event calendar is linked to Gambit and Offbeat’s event calendars and by submitting your event on our calendar, it gets shared to wider audiences. Follow the link to add your event https://events.jazzandheritage.org/

Share Your Story

We encourage you to share how a grant from us has assisted your project. We love to highlight our grant recipients. Share your photos, stories, articles, and videos with us and we’ll share them through our channels. Boilerplate

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation channels proceeds from Jazz Fest and additional funds raised into year-round programming focused on education, economic development, and cultural enrichment. Education initiatives include the Don “Moose” Jamison Heritage School of Music, Tom Dent Congo Square Lectures, the Class Got Brass school band competition, youth audio and vocal workshops, and more. Economic development efforts encompass Community Partnership Grants, the Catapult Fund accelerator, and Sync Up workshops for the entertainment industry. For cultural enrichment, the Foundation offers the Jazz & Heritage Concert Series and present annual festivals like the Crescent City Blues & BBQ Festival, Congo Square Rhythms Festival, Tremé Creole Gumbo Festival, and Louisiana Cajun-Zydeco Festival. These free programs demonstrate the Foundation’s commitment to giving back to Louisiana. The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation also owns WWOZ 90.7-FM radio and the Jazz & Heritage Archive, as well as the George and Joyce Wein Jazz & Heritage Center, a community education facility.
