Jazz & Heritage Event Safety Plan

Jazz & Heritage Safety Plan **updated May, 2021**

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation  is committed to doing our best to help you have a great time while staying safe.   

Safety Protocols

  1. One Safety Officer per every 50 people, to ensure compliance with City guidelines will be on site.

  2. Regulations to attendees with invitations and reservations will be distributed.

  3. Regulations will be posted on our social media accounts and on-site at the event.


Event Safety Plan

  1. Individuals will be prohibited from entering the event premises if they have symptoms of illness.

  2. Names and contact information of all patrons and participants will be collected for contact tracing.

  3. Online reservations will be used to facilitate gathering contact information and decrease queuing.

  4. We will require that all participants and attendees wear face coverings.

  5. We will provide unused face coverings to participants who do not have face coverings.

  6. Participants will maintain strict social distancing of at least 6 ft during all phases of the event.

  7. All attendees will have fixed seating, with at least 6 ft between households.

  8. All guests will be seated and wear masks unless actively eating and/or drinking

  9. Standing, gathering, or dancing will not be permitted.

  10. Handwashing stations and/r or hand sanitizer stations will be made available during the event.
