2020 LOUISIANA CAJUN-ZYDECO FESTIVAL

"This festival contains the greatest collection of Cajun and zydeco artists for any festival in the city and perhaps the state."
-- Charles Laborde, host of "Lache Pas," the weekly Cajun and zydeco show heard on WWOZ-FM

Kick off crawfish season with the 14th annual Louisiana Cajun-Zydeco Festival! March 28-29, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation presents the only New Orleans festival that exclusively celebrates and presents Cajun and Zydeco music. This year's festival features performances by BeauSoleil, Sean Ardoin, Corey Ledet, Lil’ Nathan, Jeffrey Broussard and more!

At the Louisiana Cajun-Zydeco Festival, the Foundation is celebrating spring in New Orleans not only with great performances but also with outstanding local art and everyone's favorite seafood, crawfish.

New this year: On March 27th, the Foundation will host a free an indoor concert made for dancing at the George and Joyce Wein Jazz & Heritage Center. At 8:00 p.m., Yvette Landry & the Jukes, with special guest, Warren Storm, will perform. At 9:00 p.m., The Magnolia Sisters will take the stage. Admission is free and doors open at 7:30 p.m.

As always, there will be food vendors, an arts market, and kids activities. Crawfish will be a major theme at this year's festival.

LOCATION
The Louisiana Cajun-Zydeco Festival takes place in Louis Armstrong Park (701 N. Rampart Street, New Orleans, LA 70116).

HOW TO GET THERE
The Regional Transit Authority (RTA) bus route No. 91 (Jackson-Esplanade) passes directly in front of Armstrong Park. So does the Rampart-St. Claude streetcar. The fare is $1.25 each way.

BICYCLE VALET
Our friends at Bike Easy will set up a bicycle valet at Armstrong Park, so you can ride to the festival and park it safely – for free!

PARKING
Street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood. Check back here for more details on available lots and parking options.

KIDS ACTIVITIES
We’re setting up a Kids Tent so parents can let their children enjoy supervised creative activities while they boogie to the music. This year, the Kid's Tent will provide crawfish-themed activities. The Kids Tent closts at 6 p.m. both days of the festival.

FESTIVAL POLICIES
Food, Drinks, Chairs, Pets, etc.:
The Louisiana Cajun-Zydeco Festival is a free event. Donations are gratefully accepted. Please help us to keep this and our other events free by patronizing our food and beverage vendors. Except for those with specific dietary restrictions or special needs, we ask that you not bring coolers or ice chests with outside food and beverages. Camp chairs or folding chairs are welcome. Please respect our other guests by not bringing pets to the festival. Thank you.

NO RECORDING
Please, no audio or video recording of any performances at the festival.

KEEP IT GREEN
The Louisiana Cajun-Zydeco Festival recycles. Please use the designated receptacles for your plastic and aluminum disposables.

RAIN OR SHINE
All Jazz & Heritage Foundation outdoor events are “rain or shine.” We don’t cancel unless there is danger from lightning (the stage is covered, so the music can go on – just the dancers get wet), and we never postpone or reschedule.
