The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation in partnership with the New Orleans Music Education Collaborative (NOMEC) and NOLA Public Schools hosted an open house style demonstration day on Saturday, August 17 at the George and Joyce Wein Jazz & Heritage Center. The event featured organizations from across the city showcasing their programs and facilitating student registration.

Each organization had their own space where they interacted with potential students and families in order to answer any questions about their programs.

Performances by some of these nonprofits’ faculty and students also took place which showcased the diversity of music programming by the NOMEC partners.
