Sync Up is back! After a summer break, Sync Up - the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation's series of free educational and networking workshops for the entertainment industry - returns with a slate of events designed for independent and aspiring artists. First up is “Make Your Music the Next Hollywood Sound” on September 18th, 2019. This workshop features John Boutté in discussion with Sarah Bromberg (Bonfire Collective), Dino Gankendorff (entertainment attorney, Provosty & Gakendorff), Kyle Lamy (NCIS: New Orleans), and Reid Wick (The Recording Academy/Grammys). Presenters will teach local artists how to clear samples for use, register copyrighted music, and how to get their works into film, commercials and TV productions.
