2013 LOUISIANA CAJUN-ZYDECO FESTIVAL

The seventh annual Louisiana Cajun-Zydeco Festival is New Orleans' premier showcase for the two-stepping dance music of the Bayou State.

As in years past, the festival will take place on two stages at the Old U.S. Mint - one on the lawn on the Barracks Street side, and one out in the street on the Esplanade Avenue side of the building. Plus we'll program a stage at the French Market's Creole Tomato Festival, which is just one block away, with Cajun and zydeco music.

Once again, we've assembled an all-star collection of the biggest and most popular Cajun and zydeco artists in Louisiana - Rosie Ledet, Beausoleil, Geno Delafose & French Rockin' Boogie, Nathan & the Zydeco Cha Chas, the Lost Bayou Ramblers and many more.

We'll also have 10 purveyors of some of the best food to be found in south Louisiana, plus a large arts market with some 30 sellers of hand made art and crafts. Check back soon for a complete list of food and arts market vendors.
